What is Black Men Rise a Run for All Lives?
Black Men Rise is an event brought to you by a Plainfield non-profit organization VCDC (Visions Community Development Corporation) and Pastor Paul A Dean. The event consists of black men together with other men running into their future, without the fear of being gunned down. Since 1697 black men have been running for their freedom. It’s 2016 and black men are still running for their freedom. With all the senseless killings taking place and higher percentage of black men in prisons, our black men have become victims of wrongful deaths and violence. It’s time to encourage the men to run the race of life and finish their purpose without their lives being cut short.
What is the Black Men Rise mission statement?
The mission statement is to encourage all men to run into their destiny. It is to bring all men together, young and old, black and non-black, to encourage each other to run into their purpose.
What is the purpose of Black Men Rise?
Black Men Rise purpose is to raise awareness to all black men and all lives to run towards their goal and finish line. To finish that which was intended for them to accomplish without the untimely deaths that have taken them out prematurely. Our black men together with other men will finish and win. It’s time for our black men to press towards their purpose. It’s time for black men to feel qualified to run the race of life fairly. We are looking to impact the Queen city(Plainfield) and other surrounding cities by helping develop the mindset of all men, young and old, black and non-black. It’s time to bring hope, it’s time to close the gap, it’s time to run in uniformity. Where there’s unity, God will command a blessing.
It’s time to run together, with no cops chasing, no guns blazing and no gangs banging.
